At DDS we have invested a great deal of time and expense in training and qualifications for our tradesmen, and will continue to do so in the future. We recognise that in this day and age you cannot have enough expertise in your field and through training and development, we will keep striving to be the best painting and decorating company in the country.
Our operatives are all qualified to at least NVQ level 2 in painting and decorating, are CSCS qualified and are continuously trained through tool box talks in Health & Safety, Environmental Management Skillset, Customer Service and First Aid.
We have first-aiders in house, qualified powered access operatives and qualified scaffold erectors and are fully equipped to work safely and efficiently in the most testing of project environments.
We are highly accredited as a company, currently holding standards such as ISO9001 (Quality), ISO14001 (Environment), ISO18001 (Health & Safety), Safe Contractor, Investors in People and are members of The Painting and Decorating Association.

Distinctive Decorating Services Ltd gained this accreditation in 2008 along with OHSAS18001 and ISO14001 as all three accreditations make up and integrated management system for our company to optimise its capabilities. We have been externally audited for the past three years without interruption.

We have been accredited with ISO14001 since 2008 as we realize that it is the most important element in sustaining our business and gives us a real insight into the harmful effects a business' activities can have on the environment. We have obtained this accreditation for 3 years without interruption.

As a company we are committed to health & safety and obtained this accreditation in 2008. This allows the company to keep on top of health & safety legislation, and implement, maintain and continually improve our OH&S management system. We have been successfully audited for the last 3 years without interruption.

We are a trade member of the Painting and Decorating Association, this displays that we are a qualified, fully insured, will produce high quality work and work to a Code of Practice.
