DDS Overview
The main ethic we have as a company is helping one another and working together as a team. Our team of in house tradesmen consists of 15 fully qualified painters and decorators, 2 apprentices. We also have approximately 30 fully qualified and quality assessed sub-contract painters and decorators on our books, always on hand to ensure large contract requirements are met.

Keith Connolly - Managing Director
Keith has been in the industry since 1994 and started Distinctive Decorating Services Ltd in 2004 and is responsible for the overall running of the business, its customers and corporate operations. Main decision maker.
John Hooson - Operations & Finance Director
Responsible for the day to day running of the business, its staff, work diary, Integrated system management, training and accreditations, auditing, budget and credit management, transport, materials and wages.
John Hughes - Quantity Surveyor
John is responsible for tendering and quotes, site surveys and measuring and site specific documentation.
Louise Smith - Marketing & New Business Manager
Louise is responsible for the management of our new business and existing client base and marketing of the company. Louise will be your first point of contact rergarding any new tenders etc.
Colin Marray - Health & Safety Manager
Colin is responsible for promotion of a positive H&S culture, H&S policies and legal compliance, site surveys, risk assessments, training and toolbox talks, patt testing, ladder and scaffold testing, register and vehicle maintenance.
Shirley Mercer - Office Manager
Shirley is responsible for office administration, customer service, document processing , ISO management, vehicles and licenses, auditing and wages.
Dave Taylor - Senior Site Foreman
Responsible for overseeing large contract works, day to day running of sites (Safety, Quality, productivity, site conduct etc), Material ordering, time management, comunication between office and site, work schedules and programme, first aid.
Paul Jamieson - Senior Site Foreman
