Insurance work makes up a huge part of the daily operations of DDS. Our senior management have been involved in the insurance business since 1994 and have built up an in-depth understanding of what is expected from a company such as ourselves, working in this sector.
We work nationwide on a wide variety of insurance jobs and have experience of most types of claims ranging from flooding, fire damage and subsidence to vandalism.
Timescales are very important to insurance companies, along with the ability to be able to carry out jobs at short notice but still keeping to a high standard of finish. This, we believe, is what attracts people to our insurance services.
As well as a fully qualified team of dedicated painters and decorators in our insurance department, we work very closely with approved tradesmen from other trades such as plastering, tiling, plumbing and heating, electrical, roofing and window and door fitters and can cover any possible requirements for complete insurance refurbishment.
Once we have been appointed to facilitate insurance work, we liaise with the policy holder within 24 hours, about the materials needed to carry out the work and source them, prior to commencing the job.
If, for any reason, we can't get hold of the materials, we will ask the customer to buy them on our behalf and we will re-imburse them in full.
To ensure customer satisfaction, we use surveys to assess our tradesmen's performance and standard of work. We feel that by doing this, we can maintain the high quality of finish and customer service at all times.
